Ice Ice Baby

When I let the dogs out in the morning, often Shirleen will ask me..."Is it cold outside?"  Recently, we're not sure what the weather will be like when we wake up.  It was in the -30s for a while and then in the +40s and we've had fog, snow, and rain.  All of that combined has made for some slick roads and walk ways.  It's had me thinking about baby Thomas in Shirleen's belly and I've been trying to drop her off at the door when I take her places and such...I guess this is the beginning of me being fatherly and worrying for the safety of my kids right?  On a somewhat related note: Shirleen's sister Stephanie is now living with us, so in a sense, we are the "parents" of a 16 year old as well.  Boy, oh boy...in 10 weeks or so there will be 4 mouths to feed in our house...it's an intimidating thought.  Good thing we have a big God!

Enjoy this picture of us ice fishing last year...stay warm!
