This will be my last prayer blog post for my Ethics class. It's been fun. Hopefully I'll have more posts on prayer in the future outside of class as well.
Yesterday in church was pretty cool. We had a ton of prayer. We prayed for those that were leaving to do ministry for the summer. We prayed for new members. We prayed for the needs of the congregation. We prayed concerning the Eucharist. But most of all, we prayed for European missionaries. Pastor Greg was gone the last 2 weeks touring Europe with other Covenant pastors to become more familiar with the ministries in Europe. Pastor shared about 4 specific missionary sites his visited and lit a candle to pray for each of them. Whenever I hear about missionaries, I get pumped up and wonder how so many people can just sit in church and listen. When I hear I just want to get out my seat and go do what we're talking about!
