Back from Bible Camp in Unalakleet

I just got home yesterday at about 12:30am from Bible Camp in Unalakleet.  It was AWESOME!  I think it may have been the best week I've had in my 20 or so weeks at camp.  The way God was working was just amazingly obvious.  The highlight of my week was that we had 7 testimonies given from Native leaders.  I rarely cry, but 2 of the testimonies given made me shed tears because of how obvious the transformation was in the lives of my friends.  One testimony focused on how God gave a family for us, even if our earthly family is broken.  The other testimony focused on how a real relationship with Christ (not just head knowledge) will bring you a hope and a joy that you simply can't even imagine, unless you also have that relationship.  I was blessed to have the opportunity to serve as Program Director during the week, and the many strong staff made my job very easy.  I was sad to have to leave after only one week, since I usually stay longer...however, I am very excited to visit Colorado this week for my Grandparents' 50th anniversary...what a milestone!!  And of course, I missed my baby and wife very much as well. :-)

On another note, I am going to begin writing a Youth Ministry for Bush Alaska book, as well as a cultural orientation manual as part of my work for CYAK.  These are huge tasks, and I can not do it without God's help.  As you pray for the London family, please lift me up in these efforts.  Thanks!

A book! I am so excited to hear this! I always wanted to write a book! So far, I haven't done it, but the next best thing would be for my son to write a book! I am thrilled and so proud of you! God's love and light shine through you! What a blessing you are to me!
