Week 29

1/17/2009

A lot has happened in the last 6 weeks.  It is amazing to think that there are only 11 weeks until a new member joins our family.  We all can't wait!  Baby Thomas should be 14-16 inches long and weighing up to 3 pounds already. :)  Please pray that he continues to grow healthy.

This past week I have been in the classroom full time as the lead teacher.  I am exhausted.  I am staying one day ahead of my class.  My class consists of 6 squirmy first graders, 10 second grades, and 8 third graders.  And plus Baby Thomas.  My classroom experience ends in 5 weeks  (Feb. 20).  I will definitely miss being in the classroom all the time but I think by then I will be ready to stay at home to get some much needed rest before Thomas arrives.  Plus I still have to get his nursey ready.

This past week I also started attending a lady's bible study with my church that I am excited about.  We are studying Ester.  I am looking forward to the chance to getting to know some of the ladies in our church better.

Shirleen! :) I just started studying Esther, too! We should keep in touch and share what we're learning! Are you doing a book study? We're doing Beth Moore's new Esther study, subtitled, "It's Tough Being a Woman." :) I love her studies and how she really delves into the Word and makes so many connections throughout the Bible. Love you, Friend!
