4 Tuesdays ago...

Only 4 Tuesdays ago were we in the hospital welcoming baby Thomas into the world.  I am amazed at how fast time flies and how much we already love Thomas and can't imagine life without him.  God has blessed us tremendously.

In a week from today I will finally graduate.  Thank you for those of you who prayed for Thomas and I during my student teaching.  I haven't seen my students since last month.  I miss them dearly.  A week before I gave birth my mentor teacher and the students had a going away party for me.  I wanted to cry because the students said the nicest things about me.  I am hoping to stop by the school soon.

Also, very soon the rest of my family will finally meet Thomas.  GungGung, Unkie Chuckie and Uncle Chris and Tai Tai all are very excited to meet Thomas.  It has been real nice having my sister around to help out.

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma Polly.  We are thankful that she was able to take time from her classroom and visit us from CO.

Last night ladies from our church had a baby shower for Thomas.  I am so amazed at how generous everyone was at the shower.  Everyone loves Thomas.  A few ladies made quilts and one knitted a blanket.  Jenni was a wonderful hostess, along with everyone who helped out.  Look at all the yummy food!  God is good!

The first picture of Thomas after his first water bath.  He is such a sweet baby; he didn't even cry once.

Thomas was dedicated in our church yesterday.  When we passed him off to the pastor Thomas didn't cry once.  He was very attentive and looking around.  We are blessed with such an amazing baby.

Also, Adam's mom, Polly is here with us visiting her grandson... look at the volcano behind us.

Time is going by so quick.  I love being able to stay home and watch Thomas grow.  God is awesome!

Tomorrow I have my final presentation for my internship.  I will be telling my classmates everything that I learned and proving to them I am ready to be a teacher.  I have one class left to attend (it's online, so I can still take care of Thomas with the help of Adam).  Graduation is May 5, less than a month away!

The last picture of Thomas- he is wearing a hat that a kindergartner from my school knitted him.  Amazing.  I don't even know how to knit hats.

He is risen indeed!

Happy Easter.  We took Thomas to Easter service and he loved it.  Thomas slept through just about the whole service and woke up once.  I had to change his clothes once.

Enjoy the pictures!   All of the pictures were taken today.

God is good!  All the time God is good!

It has been so fun and rewarding having Thomas around.  We love him so much already.

I just wanted to say a quick thanks to the people who have brought us food and stopped by to visit us.  Thomas also thanks you for the food. :)

It is amazing seeing the minutely growth in Thomas.  Today I noticed that his cheeks are getting rounder already.  It is a sign of a healthy eater, just like daddy.

Well both guys are sleeping and I should get a couple hours of sleep.

Thanks for looking!  I hope that you have a great day and remember how much God loves us.

Thomas didn't sleep much, but we survived the first night away from the hospital.  It is nice to being at home though.  We'll share more later.

In just a few minutes our Thomas Joseph will be 36 hours old.  We thank God everytime we look at how great our Thomas is doing or hear his little cute cries.  We also thank God for all the support He has brought to us through the people around us.

Adam has been an awesome person to both Thomas and I.  He was the bestest coach ever during labor.  I knew he would be.  Now his fatherhood skills are shining.

I just want to say a quick thanks to all the visitors who came by.  Thomas loves meeting some of the voices he has been hearing in the womb over the past nine months.

Now we are just waiting to hear from the doctor when we get to go home.
