7 weeks and getting bigger

Happy 4th birthday to our son Thomas Joseph!  I can't believe he is already 4!  What a joy and blessing he is to us every single day.  God is good to us!  It was the sweetest thing hearing Thomas direct Adam on how he wanted his cake.  Adam was so patient with him the whole time.  I really admire that in Adam.  Adam and Thomas planned his birthday party.

Boy, life sure gets interesting when there is no running water.  For two weeks now, we were first on water conservation, then it turned into shutting our clean running water off because our one million gallon tank was empty, next we had a day or so of hauling snow to flush the toilets so our pipes wouldn't  freeze in -30 weather, now we have brackish water running through our pipes.  We don't have our water heater on, so the past week and half I have been boiling water to wash the dishes, the children and myself.  Adam bought us a portable hand thing for washing.  Adam and I washed about 3 laundry baskets worth of laundry with it.

With all of this happening, it is troublesome,  but I cannot help but be thankful that we do have access to clean water.  And I will be more thankful when we have our regular clean system and I can use my washer and dish washer.
