Counting down the days....

It is weird for me to think in less than a month we will be living some where else other than Alaska.  I have lived in California and Rome and knew that I never wanted to live outside again, but to do the ministry that Adam and I are called to do, we need to be thoroughly prepared.  I know that we will never be fully prepared because we are only humans and that is why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit.  I am reminded that we don't need to be perfect to serve our awesome God... he wants our willingness.
Am I scared?  Of course I am, but God continually gives me peace about our move.  I know this is what and where God wants us to be right now.  A verse that has been on my mind lately is "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."    Pro. 3:5-6.
Other than thinking about our big move, Thomas is growing and growing.  I am pretty sure his is teething or it sure seems like it.  So, if you think of our family will you please pray for him and the pain that comes with teething.  I don't remember teething myself, but I am sure that it is painful for baby and parents.  While I am talking about pain Thomas is 4 months and will be getting his shots soon.  He did well last time but it was so hard for me to see him in that much pain.
I hope that you enjoy the latest pictures.  I am so amazed at how much Thomas changes everyday!  I am so grateful for digital cameras they are wonderful!

Last week Thomas got to meet some relatives from Barrow.  Sure was great to see family.  It is just the beginning because on August 5th Thomas and I will be in Barrow-headed towards Atqasuk before we make the big move.  Also, one of my best friends finally got to meet Thomas.  I am so glad we got to see her!
